API deprecation policy

How API versions are identified and how route removals are announced.

Versioned API resources identify their version in the URL. We provide at least 90 days' notice before removing a stable route. During that notice period, affected responses will carry Deprecation and Sunset headers.

Current status: no routes are deprecated. The active routes and request schemas are listed in OpenAPI and the API reference.
